This is a question which cannot be answered definitively ... honestly. There are too many variables ... how long you wear it, how often you wear it, whether you clean it regularly, the climate you live in, one's own body acid content, medications you may be on, whether you are going through puberty, pregnancy or menopause (change in body chemicals) etc, etc.

CAN I WEAR IT ALL THE TIME?
Ask yourself if you wear your best clothes all the time or your best shoes? Would you consider wearing your best or delicate things while doing the housework or the gardening? The simple truth is the more you use anything the quicker it shows signs of usage and wear ... including solid gold as well as electroplated Christian jewellery.
